Church Membership

How to Join First Baptist Church

Easiest way is at the end of our Sunday morning service. At that time Pastor Daniel offers an open invitation for anyone who needs to respond to what God is doing in their life. For some that is a time of prayer as they process what God is challenging them about. For some that time is to accept Jesus as Savior and Lord. For those who want to joint the church that is a great time to let Pastor know of your desire. Our church family will want to celebrate this step in your life with you so please take advantage of this time. There are three ways to join First Baptist Church:

Please note that meeting with a pastor to discuss church membership is a prerequisite for membership being accepted.

By Baptism

Having accepted Christ as Personal Savior, it is natural to follow Him in Believer's Baptism by full water immersion.  Let the one of the pastors know of your desire for baptism and after appropriate counseling will be happy to schedule this at your earliest convenience.

By Letter

Having already accepted Christ as your personal Savior, having been previously baptized by full water immersion, currently a member of a Southern Baptist Church, and desiring to unite in membership with First Baptist Church, we will take care of requesting the transfer of your membership.

By Statement

Having already accepted Christ as your personal Savior, having been previously baptized by full water immersion, but not currently a member of a Southern Baptist Church and desiring to unite in membership with First Baptist Church, you are welcome to join First Baptist Church by statement of your faith.
