First Baptist Church Keystone Heights seeking Church Secretary
Basic Scope of Position:
The Church Secretary serves as the primary administrative assistant to the Pastor with duties including personnel, record keeping, and financial. The secretary is a key point of contact within the church and the manager of the office. Office is open M-F 8:30am-5:00pm
Must be a High School graduate (Associate degree preferred)
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, Powerpoint)
Proficient in Quickbooks
Basic Graphic Design skills a plus
The Secretary at First Baptist needs to be an energetic team player, able to hold onto information shared in confidence, and comfortable engaging the public. Multi-tasking and adaptability are essential in this position.
As a key part of the ministry of First Baptist, the Secretary at First Baptist needs to be a repentant follower of Jesus Christ, one who is engaged in personal Bible study and prayer, who is able to display Christian empathy and discernment in their professional and private life, and active in the life of either our church or one of like faith and practice. They must also hold to the beliefs held common in this church as summarized by the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 edition.
